Artist Bio
Originally from the South Jersey/Philadelphia area, Brandon Aday has had a love of art since early childhood. Inspired & taught early on by his mother who is also an artist, he would often paint & draw with her, and continue doing so through middle and high school. He moved to Miami in 2000, where he has lived ever since, married to his his beautiful wife Reyna & their three young sons.
While not formally educated as an artist, he attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia, where he majored in Web & Multimedia Design. He later went on to obtain his Bachelors in Information Technology, Masters in Business and post-graduate work in Organizational Management & Leadership.
Professionally he has put his creativity to use in Web Design, Motion Graphic Design, Digital Video Editing & all aspects of Digital Marketing. He currently is the Head of Marketing for a Fintech Startup, focusing on mobile payment solutions.
Artistically, he is inspired by Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Expressionism, Cubism & Abstract Expressionism. Artists who have influenced/inspired him the most include Monet, Van Gogh, Munch, Kollwitz, Picasso, de Kooning & Rothko. He is also a big fan of Anselm Keifer, and artists with similar styles. Brandon loves observing the imperfections and randomness found in everyday life, and transferring that to the canvas.
